Greetings, sweet friends!!

So many fun and wonderful things going on at The Bride Room lately...not the least of which has been ushering in this wonderful sunny weather to fair Nashville and bidding farewell to the long winter...we say so truly, welcome, Spring!

So what have we been up to?

*Lots of amazing industry opportunities and partnerships of ...um, national....level. {Can't say much yet, but stay tuned...exciting things all around!}

*Our fab Monique Lhuillier + Toni Federici Trunk Show {You never know what dresses will be here for Trunk Shows...had some unexpected aha! moments with the sweetest brides!} Next up: Amsale + PARIS Accessories combined Trunk Show May 7 + 8. Booking appointments now!

*Partnering (for the second time!) with a local event stylist for some incredible photo shoots. Check out Kimberlie Bloodworth's website for some great styling inspiration...and click through her portfolio for some lovely wedding images. Gowns provided by yours truly, and we are thrilled with her work! Kimberlie does independent work with the Four Seasons and our gowns are featured on the Four Seasons- Los Angeles site. We have some gowns and accessories on a shoot in Maui right now and we are anxious to see those images!

*We've been selling samples like crazy....we've updated our Sample Sale Extravaganza pages to reflect which gowns have found a new home....if you have your eye on one, let us know...we're getting emails and calls daily and would hate for you to miss out!

*Spring Market is THIS weekend April 10-13...{note: the store is open but by appointment only...and filling fast! As we are managing a travel schedule and leaner staff, we appreciate you understanding!} Do follow along on here, and twitter, as we keep you updated live from the runways and up-close and personal with the gowns!! Always a favorite weekend of the year!

*One of our current favorite projects is updating marketing for The Bride Room...we know we're throwing out teasers here and there, but as we get closer to a few big reveals, know that we couldn't do ANY of it without the amazing Erin of Arboreal Paper. She's creative and responsive...a great listener, a do-er, a planner, flexible, genuine, savvy, and insanely talented. Fabulous Friday Feature :)

Good morning ladies!! HAPPY SUNNY FRIDAY!!!!

We are beyond thrilled to share with you today a feature on Weddings Unveiled's blog. Weddings Unveiled is an a-mazing print and online magazine featuring some of the most fresh and distinct Southern inspiration around.

A local favorite of ours, photographer Kristyn Hogan, coordinated a photo shoot a few weeks ago at Front Porch Farms just north of Nashville...the results were magnificent and voila! The sweet gals at Weddings Unveiled featured the inspiration shoot yesterday!

Kristyn worked with event stylist extraordinaire Latrice of Opulent Couturier; Shara of Cakes by Shara; Amber of Sweet Life Designs; and Hillary of Brocade Designs...the results are stunning and we were thrilled to send some of our gowns along for the prettiest grey-and-yellow shoot around!

{Our dresses featured were by Vineyard Collection and Priscilla of Boston. The darling yellow bridesmaid dress is from Lela Rose, and the stunning grey one is by Amsale. To-die-for necklace by Monique Lhuillier. That out-of-control veil :) :) is by PARIS.}

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

We are, by and large, in an ivory and white world...but the occasional splash of color is welcome, and we just couldn't resist today's place in history and pop culture....

Save the Dates: Spring 2010!

Happy Spring, dear friends and brides :) :)

This time of year always seems so special....the days are longer, the temperatures are warmer, the summer wedding season is truly being ushered in....

In this spirit of anticipation and change, we thought we'd do a brief update for you on all of the upcoming activities, shows, sales, etc. here at The Bride Room in the coming weeks. We've been posting individually, but if you're like us and you need a list to look over, we're hoping this will help a little.... :)

March 22-27: Online Sample Sale Extravaganza- Yes, sample sales are ongoing and continuous - you can truly walk in and buy a sample off the rack any day. This is just a concentrated effort to showcase some of the loveliest gowns from each collection we have. Each day will feature a different designer. We did this Sample Sale Extravaganza online last year and received a wonderful response. [ Check it out here. We sold many of the featured gowns...so if you see something you like next week, don't wait on it! ]

April 2-3: Monique Lhuillier + Toni Federici Combined Trunk Show- Current and favorite designs from the couture collection by Monique Lhuillier. Feminine, romantic, incredible design. Coupled with the leading veil designs by Toni Federici, this Trunk Show is a must-see. Appointments required. More great details here.

April 10-13: Spring Market, NYC- It is, it's a tough job...but someone has to go to market and see the newest collections. Someone has to bring back the best of the best for you...someone has to go to the city that never sleeps for appointments+fashion shows+meetings+dresses-at-every-turn+shopping+eating+....well...don't worry, we'll manage...;) And we don't want your pity. April 18: EyeCandy Salon Bridal Event - we've teamed up with this incredible salon to provide gowns for an out-of-the-box bridal experience. Forget everything you've ever thought about bridal shows and come see what is new, different, unexpected, and just plain fabulous in Edgehill Village. Details here and here...so excited! You know how we love a fashion show :) :)

May 7-8: Amsale + PARIS Combined Trunk Show- A fuller look at Amsale's clean, classic lines for the modern and sophisticated bride. The PARIS Trunk Show is always a treat...PARIS visits The Bride Room to give you a complete styled look for your day. She is amazing...her collection is amazing...you don't want to miss this! Appointments required!

Ongoing- New look, new ideas....We don't want to say too much just yet, but there are some very special changes coming to The Bride Room...stay tuned to hear about how this fab little design company is giving us a fresh look. A season of renewal, indeed.....

A Give-Away (With a Twist!)

We were so excited when one of our newest brides Sarah told us about a fanstastic opportunity she has through the ever-chic Southern Weddings Magazine.....

Sarah and her future hubby Ryan have been selected as finalists for a give-away from photographer Brion Hopkins. The lucky winning couple gets his photography services for their big day in exchange for a donation to Doctors Without Borders Haiti Relief.

Every day at The Bride Room is like permanent eye candy....oh our fabulous designers, their gorgeous gowns....our accessories, veils, and bridesmaids! It never gets old!!!

Which is why we are so very excited to join forces with THE premier salon in Nashville, Eye Candy, for a bridal event and fashion show....perfect match, no??? :)

It's Always About The Dress :)

It's probably never a good thing to start a post with a disclaimer, but please don't judge us...

We promise we are not faithful followers of The Bachelor :) :) We are not contending that this was the TV event of the season - we didn't even watch it! {We didn't need to, it turns out...our fellow vendors and even brides were keeping us in the loop via twitter...looks like we didn't miss much! :)} But we can't help but get a little curious anytime there is such a celebrated wedding event...of course, the most pressing question is always, what will she wear?!??!

So when word got out that the bride would be wearing a custom Monique Lhuillier, we knew that: 1) it would be a-mazing! and 2) we'd have to give into this commercial media frenzy and get a peek of Molly!! {It is Molly, right!?! See, we were even a little confused about the players in last night's wedding, since it came on the heels of the most current season, and all its scandal...or was that just us???} Oh we digress...back to the Lhuillier :)

(are you as stunned as we are that this was the only place to get "real" pictures of this blessed affair???)

Say what you will about the wedding and the show...But the gown??? Lhuillier-loving heart be still! Amazing shape on Molly, beautiful fit, and the texture...oh the texture! Those hand sculpted roses are perfection and a signature Monique touch....we adore the detail and love that went into making this gown for a gorgeous bride!!

And the timing? Couldn't be more perfect...come to the Monique Lhuillier Trunk Show at The Bride Room April 2 + 3 and find the romantic, feminine, couture gown of your dreams....we are so so excited to host Monique's Fall 2010 collection....you don't want to miss!
