 Couldn't be happier to introduce you today to sweet Ashley...

Ashley was one of our winter brides and had all the class and composure you could dream of. She was decisive, confident and an absolute dream to work with....She chose her Monique Lhuillier dress and Toni Federici veil and it came together oh so beautifully....

Ashley had her makeup done by the fine ladies at Daniel Cole ...They are one of our neighbors here in the Courtyard at Bandywood, so Ashley popped in the store on her way to the church....ooooh so fun to see a bride on her wedding day!!! Loved, loved, loved how relaxed Ashley when we saw her...and that so clearly made for a beautiful day....

Spring Fever!

So there's nothing like seventy degrees and sunny to put us in the mood for the official start of Spring this week!

And though we think *every* season is a season for love, there is just something about the renewal and rejuvenation of Spring that makes us daydream of whimsical weddings and bright colorful receptions......

We've Been Blogged!!!!

Happy March, everyone!!!! Couldn't resist this too cute photo we snagged from the amazing Style Me Pretty blog (a daily read at TBR!)....the colors remind us that spring is right around the corner!!!

So exciting when we get a shout out on another blog :) :) There are so many fabulous, creative, hard-working people in the industry we admire so much and we can't lie....it's humbling and thrilling to be among them!

First...from Ashley's Bridal Guide, a wedding directory for Nashville brides....ABG, along with Nashville HER magazine, both feautured Megan + Jerry's wedding because...well, because it was so beautiful and well executed! Breath-taking really!! Long story, but we (sadly!) did not get to do Megan's dress (timing is everything, girls!!!)....but we adopted her as one of "our" brides anyway and she worked with us on her veiling and fantastic jewelry. Her sweet spirit and well-appointed celebration certainly deserves all the attention it's been getting!! Love it all!! She gave us a li'l shout out here, so we thought we'd share the love!!


Then we get this happy little note from friend and photographer Michael Howard .....Maybe you remember our January post about our oh-so fabulous bride Brooke and her cutie hubby Justin? Oscar Fever!

So almost a week later and we are still swooning over Hugh Jackman and his endearing-if-not-embarrassing musical numbers last Sunday night at the Academy Awards.....

In true The Bride Room fashion, we were so anxious to see who wore what on the ever-delicious red carpet......The stars did not disappoint and much to our delight, we saw a few lovely Hollywood ladies in our very own and very dear Monique Lhuillier!

Let's be clear....we would have loved for Sean Penn to maybe even acknowledge his wife in his acceptance speech .... but seriously, we forgot all about it when we saw how fabulous she was looking ;)



And Anne Hathaway had the distinct pleasure of joining Mr. Jackman on stage for the opening number (PS: who knew she could sing!?!?!)....and we knew it was a Lhuillier the moment she hopped on stage....




So fun, right?!?! These gorgeous gowns make us very excited for what we will see at market in FIVE WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :)

New Bridesmaids....

So excited to share with you three new pieces from the Amsale Bridesmaids collection.....We fell in love at Market last fall, and quickly scooped up these pieces with fabulous wearability and ruffle details....

Then came this too cute ad campaign and we knew we were done! Love them all!!


These three styles landed in store last week, and we are expecting more....stay tuned!!!

Martha, Martha, Martha....oh how we adored Miss Martha.....

Martha is every bit as sweet and charming as she looks.....we love, love, love her innate sense of style and the fabulous confidence she expressed in choosing her dress....of course, looking at these photos, wouldn't you have known that you had found The One, too??








Another fun thing about Martha's wedding....she has introduced us to Aaron Snow of Aaron Snow Photography. He was kind and generous sharing some of his favorite pictures from the day....hope you love them as much as we do (yes, that squeal you heard was us!!! Martha was SO beautiful!!!)....Enjoy :)

A first class seat was purchased for the dress to ensure it's safe journey. The story of the gown and the Priscilla of BostonTM company was a featured cover story in Life magazine in 1971.]

We also want to mention our ongoing Sample Sales....as general information, know that our Sample Sales aren't necessarily one-or two-day events... at any given point we have dresses eligible to be sold off the rack....It's a great option if you: 1. are a close or exact sample size; 2. have limited time for planning/ordering a gown; 3. are looking for a great dress at a fabulous price; or 4. all of the above!!!!

If there is a particular dress that we have and you're interested, don't hesitate to ask. The worst that can happen is it's not eligible yet! Currently, we have gowns from every designer available for Sample Sale......

Kristin + Randy | Jan 17

Kristin and her family really got to be very near and dear to us over the months leading up to her wedding. It was such a pleasure helping Kristin create her wedding day look, and we're pretty sure there hasn't ever been a girl love her wedding dress as much as this bride!!!! It was so so so so so sweet getting to know her and see everything come together.....

One of our favorite memories was when Kristin came to order her veil....she knew she wanted the fabulous lace Toni Federici veil above, but since she had the long aisle at Scarritt Bennett, she wanted a custom length. Easy enough! So we pulled out our longest veil (the model for how long Kristin wanted her TF veil) and measured it, and it came in exactly at 117 inches.....unbelievable, since 1-17 was her wedding date.....it gives us chills thinking how perfect it was in that moment, and seeing how perfect it was in January......

Happy February, ladies! We have missed you!!! Sorry we've been out of touch on here - so much going on! A good thing!

We've been recovering from last week's trunk show- which was oh! so! fabulous!!! To our sweet, sweet brides who found your dresses last weekend....millions of kisses and thanks for letting us be a part! Each and every one of you has a story around your dress and it was exciting... thrilling...fascinating to be a part of the process! THANK YOU so much! We are afraid we might be more excited for your weddings than you are! An occupational hazard, we suppose :) :)

In the meantime - the new pieces have been arriving!!! We are out of our heads excited about the new collections coming in. Never has the marriage (pun totally intended) of fashion and bridal been more exciting!!!! The empire waists and pockets! The sleek lines and bejeweled goodness!! It's going to be an incredible spring!!!

Well the sweet gals at Big Events have done it again!
Lacy and Justin married earlier this month at Woodmont Christian Church here in Nashville....a chilly, rainy day made for a beautiful backdrop for a very lovely Lacy and her groom Justin.....

The evolution of Lacy becoming one of our brides was such an endearing process. Every moment with Lacy is a sweet glimpse into her good heart and giving spirit. We know that everyone at her wedding must have felt completely honored to be there....Lacy makes you feel good, like there are really good people in the world....She is completely unaware of her own beauty....which darn it, makes us like her even more.....
