So we keep seeing/reading/thinking things and making mental notes...."Oooooh, that would be fun to blog about"....and then life happens and the days come and go....and now we have this random collection of thoughts....happy reading :) :) :)

First stop at nashvilleweddings.com.....we were doing a little perusing of our local resources and saw that some images of our gowns were highlighted...namely this great Vineyard Collection shot leading into some suggestions for great necklines on gowns.....



Also at Nashville Weddings online is a feature on our sweet bride Samantha Basel....you might remember her post from a few months back when we introduced you to her and her sweet fiance.....



Moving right along to InStyle Weddings....a little post about Celebrity Rings caught our attention.... and lo and behold...picture 7 of 7 was designer Melissa Akey of Thread Social -- and what is on her sash?? None other than a fabulous Paris brooch...this piece is called Chalk Garden....it's just gorgeous!!! Love it?? Stop in and see what other brooches we have.....promise, promise, they are all amazing!!! (oh yeah, and the ring isn't so bad, either :) :) )




Lastly....a shout out to all our brides from the past year.....do you have photos?? Have you sent us pictures of your big day yet???? We want to know how it all went...what was your favorite moment??? The best part? The biggest surprise??? We'd love to blog about you, too, but we need your photos!!!!! We miss you and would love to see images from your day!!! Do share!!!

A Few of Our Favorite Things....

So last night we had a very minor occurrence of SNOWFALL in Nashville - it's true!!

We love the fact that it is November and we already saw a few flurries....love that it is the most perfect way to usher in the kickoff to the holidays....Thanksgiving.....It was just a quiet reminder of all the things we love about this time of year.... :) :) :)

Sweaters, coats, scarves, boots!!!! Of course we had to mention the fashion element of the season....love to bundle up and brave the elements in a chic capelet sweater and tall pair of boots.....Currently loving this ruffle-detail sweater (and layers!!!) from the ever spot-on GAP....





And it wouldn't be holiday season in Nashville if there wasn't an abundance of radio and TV commercials for the annual Radio City Music extravaganza featuring the Rockettes themselves....something about the Rockettes and Christmastime just go hand-in-hand .... :)



Lastly....we would be amiss if we didn't mention one of our favorite things about winter......snowy, frosty, winter-themed weddings!!!!! OOOH We found this image while we were poking around for inspiration and it stopped us dead in our snowy tracks..... :) :) LOVE IT. Will be swooning forever and ever :) :)

Oh it feels like forever since we've checked in....our sincerest apologies for not updating throughout the weekend.....

Suffice it to say it was crazy busy and absolutely wonderful!!!!!! For all you gals who came out and played with us...THANK YOU....we loved having you and had so much fun....can't wait to see all your goodies when they come in!!!! :) :)

To our dear Debra (designer of PARIS)....thank you for making time to visit Nashville and spend time with our brides....We are so grateful for the care you take with each girl......the work you do is nothing short of magical and we are so so so glad you are part of The Bride Room family!!! Thank you!!! You are adored!!!!!

Please note The Bride Room will be closed on Thursday, November 27th for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Oh girls, we just have so much to tell you about!!!

Tonight is the Holiday Open House...off to a terrific start!! The Sample Sales are crazy ridiculous prices and we've sold several today....we're here til 8:00 tonight...there's time for you to come see!!!

Of course, it wouldn't be a party at The Bride Room if the most delicious cupcakes ever weren't here.....



Sweet Candy Wathen of Camille Rose Designs treated the store to a fun fall makeover with her lovely designs....check them out below!!!





She did this great foliage piece that is a big pop of color for a dramatic effect....and yes, that is a too-cute new Watters and Watters bridesmaids dress hanging out there....love it all!!




A F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C new Priscilla of Boston gown arrived today....WOW is she a beauty! Hate to sound cliche, but these photos do her no justice whatsoever.....the finest lace, awesome neckline, great shape and the most gorgeous train ever...complete with scalloped lace all around the hem.....simply gorgeous, well tell you. But don't take our word for it...it's the season for seeing | believing after all, right?!?!?!? :) :) :)





And you just can't forget the PARIS Trunk Show tomorrow and Saturday...stay tuned for photos and updates from the front lines of gorgeous jewels!!!!!!!!!! :) :)

What a Week!

Next - THIS WEEKEND - PARIS Trunk Show featuring designer and accessorizer extraordinaire Debra Moreland...Debra's had lots of press lately with InStyle Weddings and Martha Stewart....truly it's an honor to have her work with you to create your wedding day style!!!!

And finally...we are so happy to share with you that our friend Michael Howard has a brand new, stylin' blog....really a creative genius and unlike any blog we've seen...Kudos to Michael...we do love to see our peers and friends evolve and grow. We've had many a mutual bride with Michael and are so excited to see the way he can continue to make memories for couples in the years to come!!!

When we think of our experience with Betsy, we just think of how gracious and sweet and completely down-to-earth she is. Betsy was such a joy because we know she had a greater perspective of this next chapter....had some insight into the marriage and not just the wedding....How we treasure those brides! We are stalkers.

There, we admitted it.
We adore our brides so much, that we stalk them as soon as we have any chance to see photos!!!!





So when Jennifer emailed us her photographer's blog posting with her wedding pictures, we went into full-on criminal-level cyber-stalking. In fact, we would have posted this blog the very second she emailed us but we've been too busy swooning over her photos. Over and over and over again. (Best. Job. Ever, we tell you!)

Jennifer rocked out this amazing Amsale gown with such sweetness and confidence - she GLOWED when she tried the dress on in the store and it so beautifully translated on her day....We love, love, LOVE how Jennifer
looks like herself - the most beautiful version of herself ever....And the spunky veil she chose was, well...just perfect.

So this is Nashville today...ah, a rainy fall day in Music City......we're craving soup and pumpkin bread and hot cocoa :) :) can you relate??!?!?!

Well we're back from Market and we are *exhausted* -- in the best possible way, of course!

Let's not forget....last night was the fabulous Martha Stewart Weddings party at Tavern on the Green....graciously hosted by the good folks at Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine, it is an annual party celebrating all things wedding....We danced and laughed and mingled and had the best time!!! A BIG thanks to our friends at MSW for the fabulous evening!!!
