Kristin and her family really got to be very near and dear to us over the months leading up to her wedding. It was such a pleasure helping Kristin create her wedding day look, and we're pretty sure there hasn't ever been a girl love her wedding dress as much as this bride!!!! It was so so so so so sweet getting to know her and see everything come together.....

One of our favorite memories was when Kristin came to order her veil....she knew she wanted the fabulous lace Toni Federici veil above, but since she had the long aisle at Scarritt Bennett, she wanted a custom length. Easy enough! So we pulled out our longest veil (the model for how long Kristin wanted her TF veil) and measured it, and it came in exactly at 117 inches.....unbelievable, since 1-17 was her wedding date.....it gives us chills thinking how perfect it was in that moment, and seeing how perfect it was in January......

Paul Wharton was on hand for the photography. Clearly he did a great job -- I think this is one of our faves.....it's so natural and honest.....looks like they are most comfortable and happiest just being together....isn't that the point??? .....Love it all!

New Girls in Shoppe!

Happy February, ladies! We have missed you!!! Sorry we've been out of touch on here - so much going on! A good thing!

We've been recovering from last week's trunk show- which was oh! so! fabulous!!! To our sweet, sweet brides who found your dresses last weekend....millions of kisses and thanks for letting us be a part! Each and every one of you has a story around your dress and it was exciting... thrilling...fascinating to be a part of the process! THANK YOU so much! We are afraid we might be more excited for your weddings than you are! An occupational hazard, we suppose :) :)

In the meantime - the new pieces have been arriving!!! We are out of our heads excited about the new collections coming in. Never has the marriage (pun totally intended) of fashion and bridal been more exciting!!!! The empire waists and pockets! The sleek lines and bejeweled goodness!! It's going to be an incredible spring!!!

These lovelies by Amsale landed in store this week....you might recognize them from the 2 page spread in the recent Martha Stewart Weddings (which...you....totally...need....) Well the sweet gals at Big Events have done it again!
Lacy and Justin married earlier this month at Woodmont Christian Church here in Nashville....a chilly, rainy day made for a beautiful backdrop for a very lovely Lacy and her groom Justin.....

The evolution of Lacy becoming one of our brides was such an endearing process. Every moment with Lacy is a sweet glimpse into her good heart and giving spirit. We know that everyone at her wedding must have felt completely honored to be there....Lacy makes you feel good, like there are really good people in the world....She is completely unaware of her own beauty....which darn it, makes us like her even more.....

Trunk Show!

We are so excited for the combined Melissa Sweet, Priscilla of Boston, and Vineyard Collection Trunk Show at the end of this month!!!! Can't WAIT to get some of these pieces in store!!!!

Bride Wars!

If this doesn't warm you up on a chilly December night, we're not really sure what will!!!

We fell in love with Brooke the minute she called the store to ask about a few dresses she had her eye on.....sweet, sweet, sweet!! Totally confident in her own style and the most gracious disposition you could ask for....Brooke chose an AMAZING gown and is going to be a stunning bride!!!

We also loved the strong bond that is so evident between Brooke and her mom.....they had a really beautiful energy together in the store and it was really a beautiful moment to witness......

So it came as no surprise when we got a peek at Brooke's engagement session that such love and joy would also be evident in this, her relationship with her handsome fiance :) :) Documented by the very artistic and lovely Meggie Velasco, Brooke shared a peek into their session and we're so glad she did :) :) Can you imagine...if the engagement photos are this gorgeous....we are really in for some Wedding Day treats :) :)

Timelines and Teasers :) :)

Hello, hello friends! So much to say! So much going on!!!

1......Just wanted to forward some information.....we have been hearing from our designers regarding ship schedules and across the board, the earliest ship dates are early/mid April....so if you have a May or June wedding, take our word for it - it is absolutely NOT TOO EARLY to make a decision...in fact, it is a great time....let us know if you need to come in to see dresses or revisit some favorites....we don't want you to be stressed and will help you in any way we can!

2.....That being said...if you have a wedding sooner...we still have dresses eligible to be sold as samples .....always a great option that is budget- and timeline- friendly.....do stop in to see!!!!

3.....So we have this BIG ANNOUNCEMENT coming....we're really excited about it.....we're getting all the info together and you should know about it very, very soon....hang tight....it will be worth the wait!!!!

4......Lastly, we are seriously thrilled that we have just received a few pieces of the Augusta Jones spring collection....surely a surprise for us that they were so quick....a little early holiday treat :) :).....there are some seriously amazing pieces....stay tuned for pictures and info about the new beauties!!!! :) :)

Checking back in on this rainy, rainy day in Nashville....hope you are all dry and warm :)

These pictures have brought us a lot of smiles the last few days and we are so excited to share them with you!!!!




Sweet Brittany seemed destined for this amazing Melissa Sweet gown (you Melissa Sweet fans might recognize her as Dora :) :)) Everything about the gown was gorgeous and just perfect for Brittany's outdoor affair!




Brittany also brought her bridesmaids in and did these amazing Lazaro gowns...she chose the Gold Leaf color, which was simply stunning for her October wedding....love it all! You can't tell here but these dresses have pockets and are absolutely adorable!





Brittany...thank you so, so, so much for working with us! Loved the dress for you and have so enjoyed the photos.....we will miss you and your smiling face ....wishing you and Danny a very happy 1st Married Christmas ...stop in sometime to see us!!! :)
